Citation Searching with Web of Knowledge

What if the IUB Libraries do not own the item?

A publication that is not available in the IU Libraries can be requested through Interlibrary Loan. Once you have searched for the item using the IULink button, by searching for the title of the report in IUCAT, and by checking with the library, an item that is not owned can be requested through Interlibrary Loan. If you locate that item in Web of Knowledge, and click on the IULink button, the information from the record will be copied into a web-based Interlibrary Loan form. The Interlibrary Loan request form can also be accessed from the Geology Library Home Page using the link saying "Request an Item through Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery." You will be prompted to supply your name, e-mail address and information about the publication or article needed.

Interlibrary loan requests may require 10 to 14 days or more to fill. Books will be delivered to a library for use and check-out; journal articles are usually delivered electronically.
