Summary: This is a Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet furnished by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) that simulates the world oil market. The OMS model estimates the effects of price changes on oil supply and demand, and computes an oil price path over time that allows supply and demand to remain in balance within the market economies as a whole. The program and data on the accompanying diskette are provided to enable the public to replicate the petroleum price, supply, and consumption projections contained in the "International Energy Outlook" (DOE/EIA-0484) as well as the international and world oil price projections in the "Annual Energy Outlook" (DOE/EIA-0383)
