Alphabetical Listing of Internet Resources
The following is an evolving list of dance resources available on the Internet. If there is a site that you would

Congress on Research in Dance (CORD)
The CORD is a non-profit organization that promotes research in dance and related disciplines.
This is primarily an informational website about the organization, its publications and
conferences, and also about scholarship in dance.

Cross-Cultural Dance Resources (CCDR)
The CCDR strives to promote the understanding of cultures through dance.
The website offers access to an online library catalog, but note: the library is located in Arizona and is a non-lending
library. The site also provides a page of dance resource links.

Dance Critics Association
The Dance Critics Association "is dedicated to all types of performance dance, but especially ballet and modern.
This site includes a moderated bulletin board, reviews, features, interviews, and links to select dance pages." (from website)

Dance Books
Established in 1960, this book dealer is the UK's only specialist in new and antiquarian books on all forms of dance and human
movement. The site offers a catalog of books, CDs, sheet music, videos and DVDs.

Dance Heritage Coalition
The Dance Heritage Coalition brings together significant dance collections held
by a variety of institutions and focuses on access, documentation, preservation,
and education.

Dance Horizons Books and Videos
A dance book club conversing all aspects of dance and representing a variety of publishers and
filmmakers. A free catalog is available
upon request. The site includes membership information and links to other related dance sites.

Dance/USA
A national service organization for not-for-profit professional dance, working for the advancement of dance
by providing a variety of programs for its membership and the dance field. Membership currently includes over
250 ballet, modern, ethnic, jazz, culturally specific, traditional and tap companies, dance service
organizations,
presenters and individuals. The site includes information on dance-related resources and publications.

International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD)
The IABD "is committed to documenting and addressing Black aesthetics in dance. It also
educates younger generations about contributions of Black artists in dance." (from website)

Miami Dance Futures, Inc.
An organization dedicated to the support and growth of dance in Florida by promoting and assisting Florida artists with administrative,
financial and technical support, commissioning new cross-cultural artistic works, advocating and sponsoring educational conferences and
developing new projects through cooperative ventures and innovative management. The site includes links to other dance resources.

National Dance Association
