Is a printed abstracts database of internationally published research in leisure, tourism, recreation, hospitality, sport and the cultural industries.

Annals of Tourism Research (e-journal, Elsevier/Science Direct)
Is a social sciences journal focusing upon the academic perspectives of tourism. While striving for a balance of theory and application, Annals is ultimately dedicated to developing theoretical constructs.

Current Issues in Tourism (e-journal, Ingenta)
Tourism journal which encourages in-depth discussion and critique of key questions within the subject. It contains both applied and theoretical work that addresses tourism inquiry and practice.

Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research (SPEA Library) TX911.3.M27 H66
Publishes refereed scholarship featuring conceptual, empirical research, and applied research articles as well as book and software reviews, research notes, industry viewpoints, and conference reviews

Journal of Tourism Studies (SPEA Library) G155.A1 J67
Publishes "double blind" peer reviewed articles on tourism from scholars and practitioners in a range of disciplines including economics, commerce, biological and physical sciences, social sciences and humanities. Articles are refereed by at least two research active tourism scholars.
Note: The Journal of Tourism Studies ceased publication at the end of 2005.

Journal of Travel and Tourism Marketing (e-journal, access via IUCAT)
The Journal of Travel & Tourism Marketing is an applied research journal that publishes refereed articles on travel and tourism related to marketing management practices, applied research studies, critical reviews on major issues, and business and government policies affecting travel and tourism marketing.

Journal of Travel Research (e-journal, ABI–Inform)
A peer-reviewed research journal focusing on travel and tourism behavior, management and development.

Tourism Management (e-journal, Elsevier/Science Direct)
Contains primary research articles, discussion of current issues, case studies, reports, book reviews and listings of recent publications, and forthcoming meetings. Articles are the results of anonymous reviews by at least two referees chosen by the editor for their specialist knowledge.

Travel and Tourism Research Association
TTRA is an international network of more than 800 travel and tourism research and marketing professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds. Organized in 1970 and joined together in a nonprofit venture, members learn from one another and develop systems that help them grow professionally.
