What is considered common knowledge?

Bob is writing a paper for X204 on the Coca-Cola Company. He included this statement which he found on the Coca-Cola web site:

Atlanta has welcomed nearly ten million visitors to the World of Coca-Cola and this has become Atlanta's most visited indoor attraction
Although he has not seen this information any where else, Bob feels that this is common knowledge because it was on the company web site.

Should Bob cite the info from the site?

A No - because if it is common knowledge you are not required to cite it.

B No – because information on a company’s public web site is considered common knowledge and does not need to be cited.

C Yes – because “Atlanta’s most visited indoor attraction” is not something most people would know so it is not common knowledge and must be cited.

D Yes – because the information is not readily available in many sources, therefore, is not common knowledge.
