The conference program, entitled Eye to I: Visual Literacy Meets Information Literacy, will explore the connections between these two sets of abilities. The virtual poster sessions should demonstrate examples of teaching and learning with a relationship between visual literacy and information literacy. As an important part of the program, poster sessions will facilitate contact among program participants prior and subsequent to the conference program.

To submit a proposal, please email the following information to Carrie Donovan (cdonovan@indiana.edu) by February 9, 2007:

    • poster title
    • poster description (150-200 words)
    • three (or more) learning outcomes for participants
    • complete contact information for all presenters

Presenters whose proposals are accepted will be expected to submit a visual representation of the poster suitable for online publication by March 30, 2007.

Note: Virtual poster sessions share information about a particular topic or project, just as typical poster sessions do, but they are ultimately represented online instead of presented in-person.

Please direct any questions about proposal submissions, poster format, or poster content to Carrie Donovan (cdonovan@indiana.edu).
