This proposal applies to local name authority records for
personal names. If this proposal is accepted, the committee
recommends that these guidelines be expanded to include corporate
names, jurisdictional geographic headings and uniform titles.
Input Standards
This level of input standard contains those elements of the
NOTIS Authorities Tag Table that must be given as a minimum by
cataloging agencies contributing to the IO Authority File.
