Search Tips

For a simple word search, type in the word you want to search (e.g. library), and click/select the "Start Search" (or "GO") option.

For a multiple word search, type in the words you want to search (e.g. library books), WITHOUT "and" or any other boolean operators.

Phrase search is available. Put search terms in double quotes.

Right truncation is possible with a "*". For example libra*, or libra* manus*

Words such as "and", "this", "that" and many other common functional words, are not searched. When included in a search, these words are ignored. In the database jargon, these words are called stopwords. Here is a list of stopwords.)

Search results are sorted alphabetically by title.
