The Collections: Guide to the Collections: Ian Fleming (1908-1964)

The original manuscripts for eleven of the James Bond novels are found in the Fleming manuscript collection. A list of the manuscripts is available as part of the online exhibition, Ian Fleming and the World of James Bond.
In addition to numerous editions of books written by Fleming, the Lilly Library is home to Fleming's book collection which focuses on the first printed editions of important inventions, theories and scientific discoveries of modern times. The exhibition catalogue, The Ian Fleming Collection of 19th-20th Century Source Material Concerning Western Civilization together with the Originals of the James Bond-007 Tales (1971) is available online.

Select "Bloomington - Lilly Library" to limit your search to the holdings of the Lilly Library. A keyword search on "Ian Fleming former owner" will list books from the Fleming collection.
