One hundred and fifty years : an exhibit commemorating the sesquicentennial of Indiana statehood
This catalogue, and the exhibit it describes, attempt to illustrate by means of books, pamphlets, and manuscripts some aspects of the change, growth and development which have occurred in the state of Indiana during the one hundred and fifty years since statehood. The exhibition catalogue is divided into ten sections, each with an introduction followed by descriptions and comments on the items exhibited: Indiana before statehood; constitution making; settlement and population growth; communal societies; Indiana in five wars; education; agriculture and industry; transportation; politics; and Indiana literature.
