The catalogue for an exhibition of items drawn from the papers of Joseph W. Barr, Secretary of the Treasury from 1968 to 1969. Barr himself selected items covering eight subjects of particular interest to him and describes them in the catalogue: the Asian Development Bank; the 1966 credit crunch; gold and the balance of payments; international development institutions; participation sales; political contributions; transition and assessment; and truth in lending. The catalogue also includes reproductions of the signatures of every major Treasury official since the beginning in the Continental Congress in 1775, and twelve pages of photographs from the exhibition.
