Lilly Library Manuscript Collections


The Andrzejewski mss. II, 1950-1990, consist of poetry manuscripts, drafts and fragments, as well as notes relating to other writings, of Somali linguistics scholar Bogumil Witalis ("Goosh") Andrzejewski, 1922-1994. Some of the manuscripts are for published works, the great majority however are unpublished. The collection remains in the order maintained by Prof. Andrzejewski, with his folder identifications retained in each file.

The materials are all in Polish and are filed as follows: Poetry (19 folders); "poems 1985" (1 f.); poems & notes (3 f.); poetry notes and fragments (3 f.); unidentified folders (4); "published works" (5 f.); and 1 f. of "Notes on Michal Chmielowiec..."
