BENNETT MSS.
The Bennett mss., 1929-1968, consist of ledgers, accounts, and scrapbooks of the Bennett Book Studios of New York City. Established in the late 1920s by bookman and binder Whitman Bennett, 1883-1968, the business involved the selling of rare books as well as the operation of a fine bindery.
The two scrapbooks in the collection contain primarily clippings and copies of want lists, etc. The first volume, titled Publicity Record, has a few other items as well, including copies of Whitman Bennett columns and articles.
Collection size: 12 vols.
