CHARPENTIER MSS.
The Charpentier mss., ca. 1899-1901, consist of letters removed from Louise: roman musical en quatre actes et cinq tableaux, by Gustave Charpentier. Paris: Heugel & Cie, 1900. The letters are addressed primarily to Albert Carre, director of the Opera- Comique or to A.Vizentini, set designer. The letters, three of which are from Charpentier to Carre, were used to extra-illustrate the above volume, along with photographs and prints which remain in the volume.
