ENSLIN MSS.
The Enslin mss., 1962-1972, consists of letters from poet Sidney Corman, 1924- , to Theodore Enslin, 1925- , writer. One postcard dated March 5, 1962, describes Corman's preparations for leaving the United States. The remaining letters are written from his residence in Kyoto, Japan, between April and September, 1972, and discuss his money problems, the weather, getting his writings published, and some remarks on books he is reading and on Enslin's latest writings. There is also brief mention of Vietnam and the U.S. presidential campaign. A short note from Enslin to Peter Howard of Serendipity Books conveying the Corman letters for sale, completes the collection.
