The Hadley, J. mss., 1823-1891, consist of Joshua B. Hadley's book of notes on the Lancasterian plan, 1823; three teacher's licenses to teach in Hendricks County, Indiana, issued to Bertha Wiley (Mrs. Joshua Hadley), 1888-1891; two of her notebooks while a student at the Danville normal school; a penmanship notebook of Joshua Hadley, and a manuscript copy of the Salem Lyceum, a school paper.
Included are also a few newspaper clippings.
