INDIANA FORESTRY ASSOCIATION MSS.
The Indiana Forestry Association mss., 1910-1917, consist of correspondence, papers, and printed materials relating to the Association, its organization and activities from the files of Charles Warren Fairbanks, 1852-1918, one of the organizers of the Association and its first president.
The Association was organized on October 17, 1910, with Charles Warren Fairbanks as president, Mason Blanchard Thomas, vice-president, George Browning Lockwood, secretary, and Hugh Joseph McGowan, treasurer.
Correspondents represented in the collection include: Stanley Coulter, Joseph Doty Oliver, Mrs. Anne Virginia (Sharpe) Patterson, Edwin Augustus Start, George Washington Steele, Winthrop Ellsworth Stone, and Mason Blanchard Thomas.
