MAGEE MSS.
The Magee mss. are papers of Rufus Magee, 1845-1929, lawyer, Indiana state senator, and diplomat. They consist of an undated typewritten copy of a newspaper article, "An Indian Summer Day," by Rufus Magee, under the pseudonym "A Ruralist"; a printed copy of his Indiana Senate bill no. 275, A bill for an act to regulate the employment of officers and persons in the service to the state in benevolent institutions in the state, 1891; and a letter regarding the above bill from Robert S. Justice, member of the Indiana House of Representatives from Carroll and Cass counties, to Miss Margaret Magee, Logansport, Indiana, October 8, 1951.
