RAINTREE PRESS MSS.
The Raintree Press mss., , consist of manuscripts, galleys, etc., of the Raintree Press of Bloomington, Indiana. The press was founded in 1975 by Fredric Aldwyn Brewer, 1921- , professor of telecommunications at Indiana University, and specializes in the printing of ephemera in which text, type face, paper, and design are combined to produce a unified effect. Several full-size books have also been published by Raintree Press, including The Log of the Carla Mia, W. Carl Jackson, Master, the printer's typescript and galleys of which are present here.
The correspondence and writings of other authors are being added at intervals to the collection.
