ROGERS, G.L. MSS
The Rogers, G.L. mss., 1819-1841, consist of letters written by Reverend George Lawson Rogers, and by his daughter Nancy F. Rogers. Also present is a receipt to Rogers for the purchase of "a black boy," 1841, and a newspaper clipping recounting the marriage, performed by Rev. Rogers, of Abraham Lincoln's father to his second wife, Sarah Johnston.
