WILSON, G.R. MSS.

The Wilson, G.R. mss., 1913-1941, consist of the papers, manuscripts and Dubois County, Indiana, historical notes, compiled and often illustrated with pen and ink drawings, by teacher, surveyor, and historian George Robert Wilson, 1867-1941. The collection contains 40 bound volumes: 23 of which are "Historical Notes on Dubois County" compiled from 1924- 1941 and accompanied by 5 volumes of indexes; 4 volumes of addresses, essays, poems, etc. by George R. Wilson, dating 1913-1924; 2 volumes titled "Wilson's Compendium," dated 1918 and 1920; and 5 volumes of "Commonplace Books," dated 1921-1925. A copy of the "Indiana State Library's Index to the Printed Histories of Dubois County up to 1919" completes the collection.
