Lilly Library Manuscript Collections


The Bloomington Area Arts Council mss., ca. 1985–2007, consist of annual reports, grant applications, development plans, strategic plans, building plans, newspaper clippings, financial reports and documentation of the activities of the Bloomington Area Arts Council (BAAC).

Incorporated in 1974, with the goal to increase participation in the arts in south central Indiana, the BAAC, one of twelve Regional Arts Partner organizations, supports public participation in the arts by developing, strengthening, and promoting the cultural resources of Bloomington and Brown, Greene, Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan and Owen Counties.
