The Baker, E. mss. II, 1964-1965, consist of the original typescript, "Flesh and Appetites," by Elliott Baker, 1922- , a proof copy of the published volume, titled A Fine Madness , (New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1964) with Baker's penciled notations and markings throughout, and the final script for the movie of the same title, released by Warner Brothers in 1966. Baker prepared the film adaptation himself. All three items are signed by Baker. A complete description of each follows.
