BELL MSS.
The Bell mss., ca. 1942-2006, consist of drafts, manuscripts and printer's proofs of works by Charles Greenleaf Bell. Bell was born in 1916 in Greenville, Mississippi; educated at the University of Virginia and Oxford University; and has taught English and poetry at various colleges and universities since the 1940s. He presently resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico and is still associated with St. John's College there.
The collection is arranged into the following series: I. Notes and correspondence; II. Writings; and III. Printed.
The Notes and correspondence series includes materials about Simone Weil.
