THIS COLLECTION HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO UNIVERSITY ARCHIVES.

The Bidney mss., 1937-1974, consist primarily of class lecture notes, students' minutes of class sessions, and the writings of Indiana University Professor of Anthropology and Philosophy David Bidney, 1908-1987. Courses taught by Professor Bidney included offerings in folklore, as well as anthropology and philosophy.

One file of correspondence is also present, as is a folder of minutes of Department of Anthropology meetings, 1966-67.
