BLEILER MSS.
The Bleiler mss., ca. 1965-1967, consist of reel-to-reel recordings of a Berkeley, California radio program titled "Golden Voices." The program, broadcast on KPFA from 1949-1968, was created, written and narrated by William Anthony Parker White, also known by his nom de plume, Anthony Boucher. The recordings were made from the radio broadcasts by Everett Bleiler. There are several programs on each reel, but only the first two reels have program information written on the containers. One non-"Golden Voices" reel containing several Mozart programs and Debussy Preludes played by Vladimir Horowitz, completes the collection.
