The Brown mss., 1933-1955, are letters and papers of Paul Van Dyke Brown, 1899- , executive of the Indiana state Department of conservation, the U.S. National park service, and the Washington state Department of parks. They consist principally of Brown's correspondence with Richard Lieber, 1869-1944, director of the Indiana state Department of conservation, and relate to national and state park matters and to Civilian conservation corps camps in Indiana state parks.
