The Callahan mss., 1894-1898, consist of a letter, December 31, 1894, from James Whitcomb Riley to Lillian (Callahan) Richards; a poem by him, "O thou fairest of the fair," inscribed to her; an undated card from him to her; a letter, November 30, 1898, from him to Mrs. William P. Callahan; a photograph of Riley inscribed to Cora Callahan; and two unidentified photographs.
