The Corbacho mss., 1912-1951, consist of correspondence and documents written by, sent to, and concerning Jorge Maria Corbacho, 1881- , historian, and his collection of Latin American manuscripts. The major part of these materials were later acquired by Bernardo Mendel and are presently available in the Public Services Department of the Lilly Library.
Documents other than correspondence include printed materials, with articles by Corbacho as well as newspaper clippings concerning him and his work, along with certificates from various academic societies, descriptions of Corbacho's collections, invitations, and photographs.
