CREELEY MSS.
The Creeley mss., 1949-1961, consist of manuscripts and letters of Robert Creeley, 1926- , poet.
Included in the collection are: [1] A journal kept by Creeley, [c. 1949-1951], which also includes notes for stories and articles [2] Drafts of some of his stories, 1949-1953 [3] Letters, 1950-1954 [4] Drafts of poems by Creeley, 1955-1961, including a manuscripts of his "The conspiracy," a collection prepared about 1955 for possible publication, and working notes for the order of the contents of his For love (New York, Scribner's, 1962), along with a carbon copy of the final draft of acknowledgements for the same book.
The first folder in the collection contains Creeley's "Notes on the manuscripts in this collection."
