EMMANUEL MSS.

The Emmanuel mss., 1920-1933, are the letters of Marie Francois Maurice Emmanuel, 1862-1933, musicologist and composer. He affirms his interest to Charles Francois Therese Muteau, 1824-1920, editor, and to Parrain in being a naturalized Burgundian. To another correspondent, Hilaire Noel Sebastien Clement Janin, 1862- , author, he writes "...l'honneur de votre entree, pour 17 raison.

Three of the letters are written from 42 rue de Grenelle.
