The Frielinghaus mss., ca. 1998-2001, consists of translations into German of works by author Raymond Carver, made by Helmut Frielinghaus. Present are a faxed copy of the revised manuscript of "Botengang" ["Errand"], corrected typescript and page proofs for Wovon wir reden, wenn wir von Liebe reden [ What we Talk About When We Talk About Love ] (Berlin: Berlin Verlag, 2000) and an early draft of the first two stories and complete typescript of the translation of Kathedrale [ Cathedral] (Berlin: Berlin Verlag, 2001).
