Lilly Library Manuscript Collections


The Gathorne-Hardy, J., mss., 1956-1982, consist of the correspondence and manuscripts of writer Jonathan Gathorne-Hardy, 1933- . The correspondence most frequently deals with the publication of his books. Manuscripts and writings present include Cyril Bonhamy and the Great Drain Robbery and Cyril Bonhamy and the Great Father Christmas Robbery, both juveniles; a non-ficiton work: Love, Sex, Marriage and Divorce; and an apparently unpublished novel: Madeleine. Manuscripts of several articles and reviews by Gathorne-Hardy are also present.
