GREER, ROBIN MSS.
Robin Greer is an antiquarian bookseller in England who specializes in children's literature. In the 1960s he discovered and embraced the genre of concrete poetry. The poems in this archive are all from that period, including original typescripts, works of art and periodicals Greer gathered as part of a projected anthology of concrete poetry for Trigram Press, which was never published. Concrete poets represented by original manuscripts include Dom Sylvester Houédard, Henri Chopin, Bob Cobbing, John Furnival, Pedro Xisto, and Greer himself. Greer's own contribution to the genre was the addition of a wider range of color to typewriter art.
