INDY MSS.
The Indy mss., 1892-1919, are the letters of Paul Marie Theodore Vincent d'Indy, 1851-1931, French composer, theorist, and author. Four of the letters and one card are addressed Monsieur Demets, Agence de Concerts, 2 rue de Louvais, Paris. Discussed are such matters as concerts, articles, travels, auditions, l'orpheon, and some of his own works, Fervaal and L'Etranger. One letter in 1919, written to Monsieur Weiller, is on the stationery of Schola Cantorum, of which Indy was the sole Director for a number of years. In this he explains the entrance exams for the school. The letters are accompanied by envelopes.
