The Kimball, D.T. mss., 1831-1838, consist of five letters written from Indianapolis, Ind., by David Tenney Kimball, Jr., and his sister, Elizabeth C.T. Kimball, relating to family news, local conditions, and their respective trips West.
The letters of David Tenney Kimball, Jr., are addressed: 1) to his father, the Reverend David Tenney Kimball, Ipswich, Mass., March 18, 1831; and 2) to his brother, Augustine P. Kimball, of the firm of Clark, White & Kimball, Boston, Mass., November 25, 1836.
Those of Elizabeth C.T. Kimball, who is visiting an uncle and aunt in Indianapolis, are addressed to her brothers: John Rogers Kimball, December 9, 1837, at St. Louis, Mo., and December 30, 1837, at Mount Vernon, Ind., and Augustine P. Kimball, February 3, 1838, at Boston, Mass.
