The Laurent mss. consist of 12 sketches by Robert Laurent, 1890-1970, professor of sculpture in the Department of Fine Arts, Indiana University, for the figure of Venus and dolphins for the Showalter Fountain, The Birth of Venus, in the Auditorium Plaza, Indiana University, which was dedicated on October 22, 1961. These are folio in size.
