MESSICK MSS. X

The Messick mss. X, June 10-July 4, 1952 and Jan. 21-Apr. 9, June 23, 1953, consist of 90 original pen and ink drawings of the Brenda Starr newspaper comic strip by Dale Messick, 1906- , cartoonist.

The 1952 panels represent a middle portion of "The Rowena" story; the 1953 story is that of Sir Oliver Twerp/Howie Haddum/Zeela Lee mystery that is continued in Messick mss. VII.

Each panel is dated with the month and day of its appearance in print.
