MESSICK MSS. XI
The Messick mss. XI, Jan. 1-27, July 10-Aug. 18, Nov. 12- Dec. 31, 1951 and Jan. 1-5, 1952, consist of 84 original pen and ink drawings of the Brenda Starr newspaper comic strip by Dale Messick, 1906- , cartoonist. All stories interrelate with those found in Messick mss. IX.
Each panel is dated with the month and day of its appearance in print.

Additions to the Messick mss. XI consist of 60 original pen and ink drawings of the Brenda Starr newspaper comic strip by Dale Messick, 1906- . There are two panels for 1973 appearances, 44 for the period Apr. 12-Nov. 30, 1974; 13 from May 21-Dec. 26, 1975; and one dated Jan. 12, 1976.

Additions to the Messick mss. XI consist of 52 original pen and ink drawings of the Brenda Starr newspaper comic strip by Dale Messick, 1906- . There is one panel for Jan. 1972, 44 for March through Dec. 1975, six for Jan. 1976, and one for 1977 that is not dated as to month or day. The panels have been interfiled chronologically with the other Messick mss. XI materials.
