MESSICK MSS. VIII

The Messick mss. VIII, Oct. 3, 1949-Feb. 25, 1950, consist of 125 original pen and ink drawings of the Brenda Starr newspaper comic strip by Dale Messick, 1906- , cartoonist.

The two stories represented in this group are that of Lance Hunter and Gracie McKoo, and the beginning of Vallorie, Queen of Gastovia.

Each strip is dated with the month and day of its appearance in print. Panel for Feb. 1, 1950 is lacking.
