SEATON MSS.
The Seaton mss., 1949-1957, consist of letters from poet Ezra Loomis Pound, 1885-1972, to Allan Seaton in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The letters were written while Pound was confined in St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, D.C. Among the people mentioned are Irving Babbitt, Winston Churchill, Eamon De Valera, Thomas Stearns Eliot, Desmond Fitzgerald, Ford Madox Ford, Robert McAlmon, Alfred Richard Orage, D.D. Paige, and Walter Winchell. One letter addressed to Seaton from an unidentified writer, dated Mar. 12, 1951, is also present.
