The Sinclair mss. III are letters, Mar. 2, 1903-January 3, 1904 [?] from Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968, novelist, to a man whose identity is unknown, his name and the titles of his works having been cut from all of the letters.

The 1903 letters are dated Princeton, New Jersey. That of January 3, [1904?] is from New York.

The letters deal with Sinclair's writings, those of the addressee, those of others, and with socialism.

The last letter in the collection is incomplete, consisting of only the last page.
