This list gives the collection name, date range and number of items in a collection followed by a very brief description of the contents of the collection. All of these collections are related to Ezra Pound.
ANTHEIL MSS.- DATE RANGE: 1925-1938
- ITEM COUNT: 53 items
- The Antheil mss. consist primarily of letters from Ezra Pound to composer George Antheil.
- DATE RANGE: 1923-1963
- ITEM COUNT: 135 items
- The W. Bird, mss. consists of the correspondence of Three Mountains Press publisher William Augustus Bird. A group of correspondence dated 1923-1936 consists primarily of letters with Ezra Pound and involves the literary and publishing activities of Bird and Pound, as well as comments on political affairs in Europe. Also included in the collection are a publisher's mock- up for cover, title, contents pages and trial signature of Ezra Pound's Antheil and the treatise on harmony, and a publisher's mock-up for Pound's 16 Cantos with original headpieces for cantos 1, 3-5, 7-9, and 14 laid-in.

- The Bridson mss. consist of the correspondence and writings of producer and author Douglas Bridson. For most of his career, Bridson was employed by the British Broadcasting Corporation. The correspondents in the collection are chiefly writers whom Bridson recorded for broadcast -- one of them being Ezra Pound. There is a separate folder of correspondence with Pound. Also included is Four Steps an original radio script written by Pound which was broadcast in 1958 and Letters to a Friend a selection from Pound letters to Richard Aldington, edited by Pound in 1955 but never broadcast.

- The Corman mss. consist of letters from poet Robert Creely to Sidney Corman, editor of the little magazine Origin. The letters relate to poetry in general; to Creeley's writings; to the writings of other American and European authors with particular attention to among others, Ezra Pound.

- The M. Cravens mss. consist primarily of letters from Ezra Pound to Margaret Lanier Cravens. Cravens, living in Paris at the time of this correspondence, provided financial assistance to Pound in support of his poetry.

- The French mss. consist of cards, letters, and notes primarily from Ezra Pound to William French. Also present are four letters and postcards from Dorothy Pound either to French or to his wife, Gloria.

- The Lind mss. consist of letters from Ezra Pound and his family to professor Levi Robert Lind. The bulk of the letters are from either Ezra Pound or his wife, Dorothy Shakespear Pound and give advice about what works Lind should include in his anthologies and translations of classical literature or are responses to Lind's requests to include some of Pound's works in his publications. In addition to the correspondence, the collection contains Lind's typescript of "My Friendship with Ezra Pound: An Epistolary Memoir."

- The B. Mitchell mss. consist of the correspondence between professor Breon Mitchell and editors at New Directions and others relating to Ezra Pound translations of short stories by French writer Paul Morand.

- The Ogden mss. consist of correspondence between editor Philip Mairet of The New English Review and Charles Kay Ogden, originator of Basic English. The topic of the correspondence is an article by Ezra Pound relating to Ogden's theories, which The New English Review plans to publish.

- The Pound mss. consist primarily of letters to Ezra Pound from various literary associates and friends. Also included are three writings by Ezra Pound: His translation of Paul Morand's Ouvert la nuit; a translation of Morand's Tendres stocks; and Translator's Postscript, published in Pound's translation of The Natural Philosophy of Love.

- The Pound mss., II consist primarily of letters sent to Ezra Pound and to his wife Dorothy Shakespear Pound. The majority of the correspondence, including drafts of Ezra or Dorothy Pound's responses, is dated between 1946 and 1958, or the years of Ezra's confinement in a Federal mental institution, St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, D.C.

- The Pound mss. III consist of letters between Dorothy Shakespear Pound and Ezra Pound from the time of their first meeting until his death.

- The Pound mss. V consist primarily of the London business files of A.V. Moore relating to royalties, publications, and permissions of Ezra Pound.

- The Pound mss. VI include a diary for 1906, two passports dated 1916 and 1919, miscellaneous financial material, carbon typescripts of radio broadcasts and "Committee Annual Reports" dated 1946-1973.

- The Pound mss. VII consist of those items by and relating to poet Ezra Pound that have been individually acquired from various sources. Detailed information is available by contacting the Manuscirpts Department.

- The D. Pound mss. consist of scrapbooks containing clippings, ephemera, etc., relating chiefly to Ezra Pound. The volumes were compiled by Pound's wife, Dorothy and contain frequent annotations in her hand. Also included are pocket diaries and daybooks, 1903 and 1922-1973, of Dorothy Pound.

- The Price mss., consists of correspondence of John M. Price, American agent for Ezra Pound. The letters pertain to the publication of The Exile, a little magazine which Pound edited. Also included is a incomplete draft version of Canto XX dated 1927.

- The Seaton mss. consist of letters from Ezra Pound to Allan Seaton. The letters were written while Pound was in St. Elizabeths Hospital.

- The correspondence and papers of the British Shakespear and Tucker families. The Shakespears are the fraternal relations of Dorothy Shakespear Pound, (Mrs. Ezra Pound), while the Tucker family is that of her mother, Olivia (Tucker) Shakespear.

- The Sinclair mss. consist of correspondence, writings, poems, and speeches of novelist Upton Sinclair. The correspondence includes four letters from Sinclair to Ezra Pound dated 1929 to 1933 and 16 letters from Ezra Pound to Sinclair dated 1929-1960. Also included are two letters from Dorothy Pound to Sinclair.
