This list gives the collection name, date range and number of items in a collection followed by a very brief description of the contents of the collection. All of these collections are related to radio or television.
ALL IN THE FAMILY MSS.- DATE RANGE: 1977-1978
- ITEM COUNT: 70 items
- The All in the Family mss. consist of drafts of scripts for ten episodes of the television series, All in the Family. There are also research materials and story conference notes pertaining to the show.
- DATE RANGE: 1806-1969
- The American Literature mss. consist of individual items acquired from various sources. Of interest are two 1947 radio scripts written by Ernest Hemingway for the English section of the series, Radioteatro de America.
- DATE RANGE: 1962-1984
- ITEM COUNT: 404 items
- The Avallone mss. consist of letters from author Robert Albert Bloch to writer Michael Avallone. Bloch has produced numerous screenplays and television series scripts and in his letters to Avallone he comments on films and film stars.
- DATE RANGE: 1965-1967
- ITEM COUNT: 15 items
- The Bleiler mss. consist of reel-to-reel recordings of a Berkeley, California radio program titled "Golden Voices." The program was created, written and narrated by William Anthony Parker White, better known as Anthony Boucher.
- The Bridson mss., 1943-1980, consist of the correspondence and writings of producer and author Douglas Geoffrey Bridson. Bridson was associated with the British Broadcasting Corporation from 1933 to 1969 in various positions, culminating as the Programme Editor for Arts, Sciences, and Documentaries (Sound). Present are letters with writers whom Bridson recorded for broadcast as well as original radio scripts, "listener reports", and five scrapbooks of press clippings.The Bridson II mss. consists of additional papers and writings of writer and BBC producer Douglas Geoffrey Bridson. Though the Bridson mss. II mainly consists of Bridson.s non-BBC writings, there are a few scripts and pieces of correspondence related to his work at the BBC.

- The Cleverdon collection consist of the papers of Douglas Cleverdon, radio Features Producer for the British Broadcasting Corporation. Includes a large amount of scripts and production material.
- DATE RANGE: 1950-1985
- ITEM COUNT: 220 items
- The M. Davis mss. consist of video broadcast tapes for the television series "Alice", 1977-1985, written by Madelyn Davis. Also present are seven tapes for "Dorothy", another series written by Davis.
- DATE RANGE: 1630-1971
- The English Literature mss. consist of individual items acquired from various sources. Of interest is an undated producer's working copy of "The Pageant of Cain", a masque for broadcasting by William Stanley Merwin with music composed and directed by John Hotchkis. This has been described as one of the earliest broadcast scripts by a distinguished American poet.

- The Hlavaty mss. are the papers of mathematician Vaclav Hlavaty. Hlavaty was very active in Czech exile activities in the U.S. Present are Radio Free Europe scripts written by Hlavaty, as well as letters with friends in which Radio Free Europe is discussed.

- ITEM COUNT: ca. 100 items The Howdy Doody mss. consist of correspondence, memoranda, contracts, and other documents relating to the television program The Howdy Doody Show.

- The R. Hughes mss. consist principally of the writings of author Richard Arthur Warren Hughes. Included are radio, television and movie scripts written by Hughes.
- DATE RANGE: ca. 1942-1972
- ITEM COUNT: ca. 1,645 items
- The McGreevey mss. consist of the correspondence and writings of John McGreevey. The collection is arranged into three series: Correspondence; Writings - sold, published, or produced; and Writings - unsold, published or produced. Both groups of writings are subdivided into radio, live television, film television, and miscellaneous. There have been two additions to this collection, 1,051 items covering the years 1973-1980 and 1,500 items covering the years 1894- 1987. - The Mackenzie mss. consist of letters and writings of author Sir Compton Mackenzie. Of interest is a Jan. 12, 1929 radio play entitled "Radio Drama" and a 1949 application for election to membership to the Radiowriters Association, London.

- ITEM COUNT: 344 items
- The McVitty mss. consist of the papers of United Nations observer Marion (Hazard) Etcheverry McVitty. Included are televisions scripts entitled "The Eight Steps to Peace" and United World Federalist television ideas by McVitty entitled "From Crisis to Crisis", "The Thin Blue Line", "Divided We Fall", and "Conference Fable".
- DATE RANGE: 1967 and 1974-1978
- ITEM COUNT: 36 items
- The Nichols mss. consist of tape recorded interviews of African writers. The interviews were conducted by Lee Nichols, author and Africanist, for the U.S. Information Agency. Most of the tapes were broadcast as a Voice of America series during the summer of 1975.
- DATE RANGE: 1950-1958
- ITEM COUNT: 601 items
- The Pavel mss. consist of typed scripts of radio broadcasts made in Paris by Antonin Pavel, at one time Counselor in the State Land Office in Prague. The broadcasts are in Czech.
- DATE RANGE: 1928-2006
- ITEM COUNT: ca. 29,500 items
- The Shanks mss. consist of the papers of author, screenwriter, television and film producer Bob Shanks, and photographer, author, screenwriter, television and film producer Ann Zane (Kushner) Shanks. Bob Shanks' credits include the "Tonight Show" starring Jack Paar for NBC, "The Morning Program" for CBS, "Good Morning America" and "20/20" for ABC, and the "Merv Griffin Show" for both NBC and CBS.

- The Sieveking mss. are the papers of Lancelot de Giberne Sieveking, author and playwright and of his ancestors. Present are manuscripts for over 150 radio plays written, adapted or produced by Sieveking for the British Broadcasting Corporation, as well as BBC correspondence and memorabilia.

- ITEM COUNT: 421 items
- The Taylor, J. mss. are the papers of television producer and script writer, Jeri Taylor. The collection consists of outlines, scripts, technical notes, cast lists, and some shooting schedules for the 7th and final season of Star Trek: The Next Generation, 1993-1994, and draft scripts, casting call sheets, research notes, etc. for Star Trek: Voyager, 1994-1996.

- The Thomas mss. consist of profiles, tapes and scripts of free-lance writer Shirley Thomas for her volumes on Men of Space and for her television programs "Travelling Stars" and "Shirley Thomas from Hollywood".

- The Thornburgh mss. consist of various papers and speeches of CBS broadcast executive, Donald W. Thornburgh.

- The Untermeyer mss. III are the papers of poet and anthologist Louis Untermeyer. "The Poets Speak: Radio Scripts for Voice of America" written by Untermeyer is present in the collection.

- The Weldon mss. consist of the papers of British author and playwright Fay Weldon. Weldon's writings include novels, short stories, and scripts for the stage, radio and television.

- The Welles mss. consist of the correspondence, papers, and memorabilia of actor, writer, producer, director Orson Welles. The Welles mss. principally cover the years 1936- 1947.
