TIPS
Use Basic Search to find important words in a record. Terms
may be combined with Boolean operators: and, not, or, adj. Use $ for
variant endings: comput$ retrieves compute, computer, etc.
The following words are stop words and will be ignored in a keyword search:
a, an, as, at, be, but, by, do, for, if, in, is, it, of, on, the, to
To narrow your search, you may wish to input keywords from the title and the author's last name.
- Search for:
- Title will search for important words in the title.
- Author will search for the name, or any part of the name of an
author, composer, corporation, etc.
- Keywords Anywhere will search for words anywhere in a record.
- Select library (optional):
A default library will be pre-selected for you. If you do not change
this limit, the terms(s) you entered in the search box will be searched
only in the default library catalog.
