January 8 Metadata Discussion Group Meeting
The Metadata Discussion Group meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 8, from 9:30am - 10:30am in room 043 of the Wells Library. The Metadata Discussion Group meets monthly to discuss metadata issues pertaining to libraries, archives, and museums. The group has no formal membership. Library staff, SLIS faculty and students, and those on campus interested in the topic are welcome to attend.
What is preservation metadata and why should you care? Join us to chat about preservation from a metadata perspective, explore PREMIS, and more!

Staff News
Rhonda Armstrong, Dean of Indiana University Kokomo Library, resigned her position effective November 16, 2012. Rhonda has returned to her home state of Tennessee where she has taken the position of Director of Library at Lincoln Memorial University, Carnegie-Vincent Library.
