The National Digital Stewardship Alliance (NDSA) is a voluntary organization made up of government, academic, and private institutions (including IU Libraries) that all have digital stewardship responsibilities.  This week, the NDSA released the inaugural edition of the National Agenda for Digital Stewardship.  This document contains information on key issues the organization intends to tackle in the oncoming year.  In 2014, NDSA hopes to focus on: Digital Stewardship training and staffing; applied research on Information valuation, curation cost, and effective auditing; experiments in interoperability and portability of storage architectures; integration of digital forensics tools into stewardship workflows; and development of the evidence base through surveys, experiments and testbeds.  For more on this report, check it out in full here.
