Following a national search, Jennifer Liss accepted a visiting position with the IU Libraries as Cataloging/Metadata Librarian in July 2011. We are pleased to announce that Jennifer is continuing her role in a tenure-track position, effective May 1. Jennifer’s accomplishments include the implementation of non-MARC metadata work throughout the Cataloging Division, the introduction and development of image cataloging using the PhotoCat 2 application and the inauguration of cataloging archival collections for the University Archives. This appointment confirms Jennifer’s many successes and the Libraries’ commitment to Technical Services’ expanding role in content discovery and collaboration.
