Memorial Day

Don't forget that Monday, May 27 is Memorial Day!  Memorial Day is a federal holiday, formerly known as Decoration Day.  Celebrated since the end of the Civil War, Memorial Day commemorates men and women who have died while serving the US Armed Forces.  American flags are put at half mast until noon to honor and remember the fallen.  The flag is then raised to show resolve and ensure that their sacrifice was not in vain.  Additionally, Memorial Day usually consists of picnics, barbecues, parades, and more. Enjoy the three day weekend!
