Now the linen tape is cut into pieces about 3" longer than the total thickness of the text block and affixed to the edge of a table, counter, workbench, or such. Nothing more involved than sticking them to the edge with ordinary cellophane tape is needed. As can be seen, they are situated so that they line up between the pairs of marks on the template.
